Gentlefolk,

We have news. News of a new 7" single with two different sides:

Side 1 - 'Constant And Uniform Movement Unknown'
Side A - 'Fed Up With Your Job?'

D-UHF-D48 is released today via the reliable twin label forces of Duophonic Ultra High Frequency Disks and Warp Records. Although the 7" disk is limited, there should be enough to go around. Both tracks will also be available via your preferred digital song provider. No compact disk will be produced.

New scratchcard

Back in 2020 we made our first scratchcard, which gave a handful of fans a chance to win a copy of a limited edition 7".

This time, our new scratchcard will give everyone a chance to be a winner!

As lovely as it is to play shows across the world, it becomes difficult to carry all of our back catalogue with us; not only do we have limits on space, but we can only carry so much weight. Border crossings, customs and flights make things even worse.

Scratchard #2 is our way of acknowledging the issue by reducing mail order costs a little. The cards will be available for free at our upcoming shows - just head over to the merchandise area to grab one. Simply scratch the scratchable area to reveal the discount percentage and redeem it via our webshop.

But that's not all... each redeemer will be entered into a lottery where the prizes will be five uniquely artworked versions of the already super limited Aerial Troubles 7".

Each scratchcard reveals one of three discount codes of varying values.

Discount codes may only be redeemed on purchases made at https://duophonic.ochre.store/.

Codes cannot be combined with other promotions, discounts, or coupons unless explicitly stated.

Discounts apply only to eligible merchandise. Gift cards, sale items, shipping, and taxes may be excluded.

All scratchcards are a one-time use only and are valid until 31st August 2026.

We're working on playing the places that we haven't played yet. Here are details of some shows in Wales, Eire and Northern Ireland

More shows

We hope so, but it isn't really up to us. We need promoters to offer us shows, and those offers have to work out financially, logistically and not clash with any other dates that we may have already agreed to play. Stay subscribed to the Lab Report and you'll be the first folk to find out about Stereolab shows...

US Tour merchandise - It's been tricky to replicate the EU merchandise for the US tour, so we've had to amend our range. We've been able to ship some trays, ice trays, biscuit [cookie] cutters and egg cups, keyrings and badges - although quantities of each will be limited for each show.

Less limited items will include our always popular Laundry Bag - now it's its fifth colour variant. A lined coach jacket [actually, these might end up being limited as they're rather expensive to make], mugs and 6 different t shirt styles.

Music on tour

We'll be carrying LPs and Compact Disks of the new album 'Instant Holograms On Metal Film', plus copies of the tour-only 7" Cloud Land b/w Flashes In The Afternoon [DS45-69].

Canada, South America and Mexico City - I'll have to update everyone via social media as these borders will be tricky to negotiate...

All of our other shows are sold out. If you find tickets online at super high prices, they'll likely be from touts, scalpers, or secondary ticketing platforms. We have no control over the pricing of these tickets, nor any of the admin fees that are applied.

Support acts

Try and get to the shows early to catch our handpicked selection of support acts:

New addition - We're super happy to let the folk of San Francisco [22nd October] and Los Angeles [26th October] know that Jeremiah Chiu & Marta Sofia Honer will be our special guests.

MEMORIALS will be our special guests 13th September - 1st October.

Dorothea Paas will be our special guest 2nd October - 14th October - but not 10th October as that will be Bitchin' Bajas and NIS.

Bitchin' Bajas will be our special guests 17th October - 2nd November - but not 22nd October [Jeremiah and Marta], 26th October [Jeremiah and Marta] or 31st October [Leviatation Festival in Austin, TX].

Mombojo will be our special guests December 5th - December 13th.

Raisa K will be our special guest on December 14th.
